Here are some pictures of the new Miniature air cleaner installed on the Spectra-G. It is VERY light and fits perfectly. As you can see it is nearly the perfect size for the model and looks great!
Of course, the air cleaner will fit any gas model and can be engraved with the Spectra-G design shown, a "Tribal" pattern, as well as other designs.

John,
Can you give us the total weight of the air cleaner assembly?

I have not weighed the assembly, but it is advertised at 1.8 ounces. I will have to agree as this assembly is VERY light!

John,
Does it come with the velocity stock or just bolt on the air filter?
Have a good day

One reason for the low weight is that there is no stack. The back plate bolts on with the carb bolts, then the element gets "sandwiched" between it and the front plate. Three stand offs are bolted into the back plate and the front plate bolts onto these.

i built my own velosity stack out of 3/4'' tube and ordered for a K&N crank case vent filter ....its real light and looks fantastic.. its only 2'' dia not sure how it compares to the mah air filter but i am sure the price was better...

Is there a choke under the MA airfilter and if not how do you choke to start?

If you have a carb that has the choke plate in it, then you will have a choke. There is no choke within the filter itself.
I do not use a choke for starting, not even in winter. Using the top start makes the choke unnecessary. All you do is pump the primer bulb and then hit it with the top start. If you don't have a primer bulb, then you have to wait until the fuel pulls up the fuel line to the carb once you start to turn it over. That's why I prefer the carbs with the primer option.

I use a 50:1 ratio as per recommendation. That is 2.5 ounces of oil per gallon. I have used as little as 2 ounces per gallon at 65:1 ratio with good results but still recommend 50:1.

Should be OK to run the rest of the 3oz./gallon fuel you have mixed out. Try 2.5 oz./gallon. That's it :glasses2: watch the plug!
