Won a G-Force head for my Raptor 50 today at a fun fly.. Worth it to tear the existing head down and build it up with these goodies or should I wait until I crash a break something?

Looks like I got the head block, head button, flybar cage and mixing arms in the "kit"...

Well.... I guess you have plastic headblock now. Is it still slopfree? How often do you crash?

I'm buying one within a few weeks and once I get it I'll put it on ASAP.

Um, the 450's I tend to dump with some regularity. So far, no crashes on the bigger heli. Still haven't flown this Raptor even though I've had it for almost 2 years now. :)

I really like mine. 3 90 durometer orings seemed to fly best in mine although I like a very crisp cyclic so the tighter the better. Give it a try, I was happy with the change from the plastic head. Not a huge difference, but it does seem quicker. You can easily pull more pitch than the stock head although only the G-Force mixer arms are needed for more pitch.

Welp, I'm gonna go ahead and get the engine tuned properly and get the governor set up before I bolt that head on, but I'll get to it soon. :)

iv got a kasama head all ready together on a mainshaft wating to break the plastic one
before i fit it.
that way when i break it all i have to do is slide in the new shaft and will be almost
ready to go up again...................

I don't know your experience with the raptor but the plastic center hub will almost never break in a crash. This isn't Align plastic.

The mixing arms can pull 15 degrees of pitch, but can a raptor 90se with a OS 91 SZH pull this kind of pitch?

No, but you'll have less binding, more cyclic and maybe even faster response I think.

Skidz, that head is junk.

Pack it up and send it to me I'll be happy to dispose of it for you.
