hello folks,
has anyone modified a os 50 hyper to a have a backplate modification to pressurize the fuel tank? like on the ys 50?..anyonw wanna share? thnx

Sorry no one answered your post, hopefully your still checking this.

I have made the mod to mine and it was well worth it. It was a pain to get the engine tuned again (had to really lean it out due to the extra fuel pressure (yes I put a return fuel line in with a one way valve)). No more running lean at half tank and several times the engine sounded like it got an air bubble but just kept on running. I don't think it would have kept running with out the pump.

One thing you will have to do if you put the pump on, when you are done flying for the day you will have to remove the fuel from the pump. What I do is drain the tank and start the engine till it dies. It is really surprising how long the engine will run with only the fuel in the lines.

I'm using just a simple perry pump mounted the same way the 90cspec is mounted. I got the mount from a web site I either found here or runryder.
