Guys.

I have had problems with my Mini T just losing its grip and spinning through 180 degrees with fast backwards flight. I've upped my headspeed (by going 15T and setting 90% throttle) - got a S9257 tail servo and the new ish JR770 gyro.

The gyro is awesome in comparison with my old Futuaba 401. It had a really solid lock and I'm very happy with it.

The tail does still flip/slip out though during near flat out backwards (upright or inverted). At slower speeds its fine.

I've considered experimenting with longer / different blades too - but don't know which ones will fit the Mini T's blade grips. Anyone else changed blades. Am also concerned that the 325 main blades may come incontact with the tails if I'm not careful.

Anyone changed blades? Noticed an improvement?

May just have to take it slower backwards.

15t , is that on 3s pack? Do you know your actual running headspeed?
I run a 4s setup and only run at 2800rpms but my tail blows out very easily in fast backwards flight. I dont have any head upgrades yet so I have been avoiding ramping up my headspeed a bunch just to get a ore powerful tail.
I would be very interested in some better tailblades if you find some. I have looked around but havent seen any that didnt seem too big.

Not sure what headspeed I'm running. Will try get a friend to tacho it.

I'd recommend the JR770 and S9257 servo. My tail is awesome most of the time. Its just the very fast backwards that it spins out.

Will have to learn to fly slower!

Am still interested in the blade options though...
