The shape of the curve depends somewhat on what type of response you're looking for from the engine but my normal curve is in the shape of a shallow, backwards 'S'. The flat spot of the 'S' is at your hover point, to the right of the mid-point. It should be where your target normal headspeed is set. My curve is a mild climb-up to speed, slight flat spot, and near linear up to 100% from there.
I'd post my points but the Tx is at home and I'm at work. I'm sure some other freaks can throw their numbers and wisdom into the mix.

hi guys
I am playing with curves at the mo, I dont have the money for a gov at the mo..
I dont want to push the engine to hard so I was thinking some thing like 0 , 29.5 , 48, 67, 85.5
I am not to good at setting curves so any help would be great..

ok I have been playing and I have decided to go with a curve like newflyer talked about. this is what I have programed.. norm 0 , 45 , 65 , 70 , 85.5 I up 85.5 , 70, 65 , 70, 85.5 .
I might increse the i up so it is more near 95 at both ends, will try this out first as I am running in a new engine.. on the norm mode it shows me a curve with a flat spot around where I hover this will keep a steady head speed and should make for a more stable hover..
I will test tommorow let me know if you guys think my curves are ok..
thanks..

Look OK - I wouldn't tweak up your idle up limits till you've test flown - I might even back them off a bit for idle up say 75 - 65 - 75 till you've evaluated the helis performance against your skill - you just don't need head splitting revs and power for hover and FF - whilst learning basic 3D I find a HS of 1800 nice as it slows down the action enough for me to follow whats happening and also polish up on collective skills.

Hello Newflyer2
I am flying in normal on my 600N with 45.5, 65.5, 85.5, 95.5, 100.0% My headspeed is 21000 rpm.
Where do you fly in Olympia?? Maybe I can help you setup your 600N!!!
The above number is for pitch in normal mode. Here is my number for normal throttle mode, 0.0, 25.0, 50.0, 75.0, 100.0
Hope that help you out!!!
