New Spektrum Dx7 Q's

I got my 600E and DX7 in the mail yesterday.

When I opened the box, I was surprised by the following:

1. No neck strap? Is there supposed to be one?

2. The collective stick has notches in it..do you have to mod this to make this better? I like the silky smooth operation of my Futaba 9CHPS... not too loose but also not notchy...

No neck strap is included.

If it is the heli version, the collective should be smooth; but it is easy to change yourself if not. Just open up the radio, remove the notched piece of metal over the back of the collective stick movement, and replace it with the smooth piece of metal which is included with the radio. If it already has the smooth piece on it, then try loosening the adjustment screw.

Thanks yeah I just found the thread about that here... ok makes sense... just kinda stinky...hehe... I suspect it is smoother already.. I am pretty sure it is the heli one and the ratchet is not extremely notchy...but enough to notice and be bad...
