Full Throttle at startup?

Just got Phoenix and all helicopters are at full throttle at startup, The engine sound doesn't change when you advance the throttle either. In airplane more, it works fine. Yes I did calibrate the transmitter. Is this normal?

I've been playing with configuring the radio and can only get it to 'throttle on' or 'throttle off', not variable. As I progress the throttle, the head speed immediately goes to full speed.

If you check thru the settings of the heli you will more than likely find that it is setup for gov. mode. So once you get past 25% (i think it's 25) the engine/motor goes to the preset rotor speed in the configuration and stays there. you can change it to track throttle position if that is prefered.

Are you having problems with any other controls or only throttle? just throwing some things out there..............if you have a ppm/pcm radio,make sure it is set to ppm...............make sure the sim is set to mode 2.........and some times it helps to diagnose exactly what is happening with your tx and the sim by selecting the onscreen tx option..........

Did you actually program the DX-7 as if it was flying a heli / Trex 450? Throttle curves, expo, gyro settings, etc., all have to be set-up for everything to work correctly. Calibration does not do this! The planks will fly just fine with the helicopter settings!

After numerous attempts I uninstalled everything. Then installed version 1.03.b and all works just fine. Throttle for the helicopters work just like they should, no problems.

When I install 1.04.i, I now have not throttle at all for helicopters. Airplanes work just fine, but soon as I select a helicopter, no throttle.

I have contacted Phoenix Technical Support and they are looking into the problem. The red slider bars show that the throttle stick is being recognized.

I have set throttle curve, gyro etc with no luck.

TX is a JR XP783 in PPM mode.

Got the new CD with the full version 1.04.i and everything works perfectly now. :lol:
