Forgot to ask also, does anyone know if the canomod canopies are narrower or smaller than the kit one. I am running 2170 4s pack and it's very tight with stock canopy. Dont want to splash out on f/glass if it's smaller!

I just wondered sort of head speed you are running with 4s set up. I am about to finish mine and it would be useful to know when setting up etc

I don't run 4S, I'm thinking about it. I guess a lot would depend on the blades you use. I wouldn't go over 2800 on woodies, and I can't see why you would want to go over 3k with anything, although I'm sure some do. If I went 4S it would be for extended flight times more than anything so I wouldn't be jacking the headspeed up much. I'd probably run a JGF 450TH with a 10 or 11 pinion (2600-2900 RPM). I'm still contemplating.
As for the canopies, I have no clue, sorry.

thanks for this Graham. I am running radix blades and from what you've said I think 2800 will be more than enough!
