Hi!
I'm thinking about buying a used 9ZAP. I saw that this is aeroplane version of the 9Z. I would need it for flying both but mainly helicopters. The question now is, is the function set in both versions the same? And is the only difference in servos or what ever comes with the radio?
What are you thinking when comparing it to newer systems like FF7? I'm aware of that a FF7 has limitations, but if you only take things like sensitivity and reaction speed into account, is there any difference?
Thanks a lot for any input, Klaus

It has software for anything you want to fly. The bigest difference in the airplane version is the click drag on the throttle. There are other minor differences in switch labels or other appearence items. Servos could be anything the guy has. The newer radios do have a faster data rate but you got to be world class to know it.

Hi!
Thanks a lot for the info! I don't need all this special things that some of the highend-using people want. Just a flexible system. It seams to be a good deal!
Thanks again,
Klaus

the ff7 is simular to it in prog ect ,but i thinks its plain NASTY compaired to the ff9 !
my tranney of choise is the futaba wc2 a bit heavey but you get a lot more bang fer yer buck !

the only thing is to play with the programming it CAN be tricky at first but as in most things practise makes perferct .

I have a 9Z I am considering selling. The radio is in excellent condition and has been sent back to the factory every other year for tuning/calibration/checkup.

The 9HP defaults to heli, but will fly anything you have.

I am considering going to Spektrum. PM me if still interested in the 9Z.
