hi everyone, i have a problem with my to Fullriver 1800maH 11.1v lipo batteries, now ive not been to helis for that long but to like use this forum & it's a better class of people,
when i got my heli it came with these 2 batteries & they were good so i brought an esky lipo balance charger to try & keep them a bit better, but now they seem to take a longer time to charge & now only giving me about 7min fight time.
when they run out i place them on a 12v light to make sure that they discharge before i charge them again
can anyone shed a light on this
many thanks steve

Discharging LiPo packs damages capacity, they should not be allowed to drop below 3v per cell, so thats 6v in all for 2cell packs and 9v for 3cell packs.

You'll need to get a better charger, The esky and like chargers are very poor
and stop charging when one cell reaches a full charge! FMA sells a decent
charger for $79 that will also discrarge for storage and have a repaire mode!

But you will need a 12v power supply, Which you can may from and PC power
supply!

I use the Graupner Ultramat 14 charger, it is mains and 12v for around £60
