Yeah the Evo is a mighty fine machine, it flies so sweetly :). I had an accident with mine, can't wait until I get some more funds so I can get her back up in the air again. :)

The Skeedoo is hard to beat. It flies much better than the other 50 size copters

My starter gave out on me this past weekend and now I have to wait for a new one - I cannot wait to get it back in the air either!
Clay, I saw the video of your skeedoo....nice flying!

I'm running an OS 50 Hyper with MP2, S9252's all around except for cyclic which has a S9350, GV-1, JR Extra 1800mah (sub-C JUST fits into the battery box) receiver battery and a 401 gyro with S9254. My transmitter is a 9C. As I said - I lurve my Evo! :D

The Evo is a great machine.....no doubt about it. Hope to get mine back out flying this coming weekend. That new OS50 Hyper needs more break in time :)
Blakka - You coming back to the Evo?

Blakka - You coming back to the Evo?
Yeah Kinger I'm coming back to the Evo. I have been flying my R50 for a long time now, it's time to try something different. Going to bring my Evo back to life. :)

Cool. I just thought for a while there you had sworn off the Evo due to the issues you were having during piroflips. Glad to see you are going to fly the heli again though.......it should easily take any abuse you can dish out.

Nah I hadn't sworn off the Evo, I was just a little disappointed at the time.
Evo due to the issues you were having during piroflips.
When I rebuild my Evo I will be fitting CX dampers, i'm sure it will prevent me from having any accidents while pirofliping. Overall the Evo is a sweet machine, you can't hate it. :D

I've owned a R50 V2, Fury Extreme, R50 V2 Xero-G Frame, and now an EVO 50.
The Original R50 flew great and held together really good. I got a good deal on a Fry Extreme so I sold the R50 to get the Fury. I wasn't ready for the Fury so I went back to an R50 but Put a Xero-G kit on it. I had a tail control rod that kept falling aprt on it and I couldn't get the interaction out of the head so I sold it and got an EVO CCPM kit. It flies just as well as the Xero-G without the interaction. Problem is I went through 6 Seesaws in about a month. 1 broke because of a crash, 2 broke and cause crashes and 3 just cracked during a hover. I bought all the seesaws from the same place at pretty much the same time. I just bought 2 more and they seem to be holding up fine now. Maybe I got a bad batch!?
Only thing I have against the evo is it doesn't hold up well at all in a crash. Yeah, I know the solution is to quit crashing, but it sux when you have to replace the frame and servo tray everytime you hit the dirt. It flys better than the R50 but about the same as the r50 with the Zero-G kit.

I know how you feel mate, I crashed my Evo twice and both times the whole thing was a wreck, frames and servo tray :( . However using the Carbonxtreme under frame stiffener adds loads of strength to the Evo chassis. When I rebuild my Evo I will definatley be installing a CX undeframe stiffener, it does a great job. Try one BDIS you will be really surprised at how it makes the whole Evo structure stronger.:)

lol  . Oh well, I guess the only way out of it is not to crash then, or buy the K&S carbon frame set for the Evo £££/$$$.
Im with you though BDIS, I wish the frames where just a tad stronger. :)

A lot less expensive just to keep the heli away from unexpected meetings with terra firma :) Shame they don't sell that power in a bottle because I'd buy a TON of it.
