cx2 body question

i am a noob to the heli hobby. i started with off road rc's and got bit by the heli bug.

my question.........i was wondering if the helimax rotofly body could be modded to fit the cx2? if not do you have any suggestions for bodies of that style that can be made to fit a cx2. i want to add a tail boom and would love to switch bodies.

The MD530 looks cool, but I have the Boom tail kit for mine and i think it would look dorky to mod a MD530 for the boom tail.
