I ordered a new Spectra G w/tempest head from my hobby shop last week and I was hoping it would be here this week but he said they told him about 2 weeks before they will be ready to ship it. Does anyone know how much longer I will have to wait. It is driving me crazy waiting. I also order a TRM motor and Hatori muffler.

Toadster.....
if you check out some of the threads in the Toxic Racing Motors forum, they are waiting for more motors to come in on the "slow boat" so Al can mod them. If I had to take a stab in the dark, I would guess the TRM 231 is what is holding up your order. As they say: "all good things take time" :glasses2:

I know about the motor wait but I figured they would send the heli seprate from the motor. I could get the thing assembled without the engine and then install it when it gets here.

I talked to Tim today. It is going to be approx 5 weeks before any Spectra kits will ship. Couple of the suppliers are behind that supply parts for the kits. Motors not being available does not delay shipment of kits. The Spectra does not include a motor in the kit, so there would be no reason for availability of motors to affect the availability of kits.

Don't crash your Spectras guys... the tail rotor output shaft is not available and for those that have one, that shaft is worth its weight in gold. :arggg:
I need a tail rotor shaft very, very badly... if anyone has one and is willing to part with it, name your price. I'm braced and ready to pay.

Where do they get the parts from? Do they make any of them or do they all come from other suppliers? Aren't they all made in the USA? I know Zenoah engines come from Japan.
I thought waiting a month back in 2001 for my Fury Expert was a long time. I am glad that they are tring to fix any known issues with the Spectra though.

It has been 2 weeks since we heard 5 weeks out. Are they still expecting to be ready in 3 more weeks?
