PCM9X Tx and Rx

Hello,

I currently have a PCM9X which is used in my Skeadu and my 600N and works brilliantly with the supplied 9 channel Rx. I am now looking at getting a Trex 450 and now in need of a new Rx but i am wondering, do i have to get a 9 Channel Rx or could i get away with a 7 Channel Rx?. This ofcourse would be smaller and more lightweight but i am unsure if the 2 would be compatiable.

Any help would be appreicated.

Hi, of course, you can take any Rx, doesn´t matter how many channels it has, but I think, at least, it should be 7 channels ( because of gyro .. ).
For big heli I have JR RS10DS and for smaller (Mini Titan) JR RS77S = 7 channels :). I can recommend this one (RS77S), perfect, small (15x25x47mm), light (17g), SPCM, synthesizer, autoscann.

I am running R770 and R790 Rxes in my Trex 450 and EP8, with the JR 9303 (9xII). Works fine, as well as using it with several Berg 4s in planks.
