I have been running the AP for a good couple of flights now and have been pleased with it's functionality.

Just wondering though if anyone who has a 401 set up on channel 4 of the AP can give me a guide as to the approximate gain. I know this will be different amongst the differet types of setups but a general idea would be helpful.

I have mine set on 26% and this seems to be a bit floppy on the tail.

(BTW - I did read the setup procedure with the spare servo etc, but I set this up from scratch so that was not applicable).

Mine's set to 30% trim on the AP2000i channel 4 and holds the tail steady. I arrived at this number using the servo technique. On the DX7 the AUX2 high gain position had been set to 94%.

At that rate, maybe just try as one would with tx controlled gain and adjust upward until the tail hunts then back off a bit.

Thanks - this is helpful .... will crank the % up a bit and then go from there...
