Has anyone tried it out, I have the full version, but I was wondering can you actually fly? What you use for input, or does it just play a prerecorded demo.

it opens too many holes in the anti piracy look how many people are using dodgy hacked demos of real flight...

if hobico had got of their arse and done something with phoenix then your local shop would have it on demo.

May be useful for prepurchase check to see how well it will work on your hardware.

(I presume it is a real software and not a recorded video).

It is. When you start it, you get the same "plug in the dongle" message you get on a purchased copy, but the only things that work are the menus, one of which allows you to play back the recorded demos.

Ade, I didn't mean by any means to give away the program, just somehow give a taste of the feel of the controls, I'm very impressed with the product (its helped me immensly!!) I believe others would be as well if they could try it. I suppose if the program were modified to accept some other control interface it could open up some hacking opertunities, so I can see your point.

I purchased my copy when it was fairly new on the scene, and have watched it blossom all the way to the latest version. When I try to fly the other two sims at my LHS, they seem very klunky and have uneeded features (might just be cause I'm used to Phoenix), I also enjoy the online sessions, all in all I believe you have real winner here and its a real shame its not as available as it should be.

Just some thoughts, Rick

P.S. Thats some badass fling you do on the demos.

lol thanks... you wouldnt believe how long it takes to get one flight spot on but not too perfect :-)

hobbico have done what i thought they would do and sat on it. its going really well in the rest of the world. you only have to look around forums like RR to see G3 and reflex plastered all over the place not to mention the US mags.
