View Full Version : Removing throttle arm spring from carberator...

Is there any harm in removing the spring from the throttle arm on the carburetor? It dosen't seem like it would serve any purpose in our application other then causing resistance to the throttle servo.

I would not remove the spring from the carburetor, it helps to keep the brass throttle shaft from wearing inside of the carb body. I personally clip the little loop off of the spring though.
