Hi All.

I currently have a T-Rex and am still in the learning stages: hovering, moving forward and side to side.
I am very interested in getting a Mini Titan. I would be getting the Kit with the stock motor and ESC. I currently am using 15C LiPos and I know that I need better packs, but don't really have the funds to buy new LiPos right at the moment. Will the 15C LiPos be OK on the Mini Titan for someone at my level of experience? I have heard that the Mini Titan can be a bit hard on LiPo packs.
If not, what if I had to put my Align 430L motor in the Titan? Would that make any difference? I am assuming that it is the motor the is hard on the packs? Any suggestions or info?

TIA

I run TP Prolites from 06 that are 15c and they work good for the basic stuff. I even do flips and rools with no problems. I run the align xl motor and 35amp esc too. Just keep a watch on the temps of the packs and the mah added after each flight. Keep everything cool and they should be fine.

HI,
I'm at the same stage you are I too have a Mini Titan how ever I am useing the Hacker 20 motor a castle creations 35 c ESC and a thinder tiger extreme Lipo pack rated at 11.7 V and 2079 Mah. This combo has more than enough guts to climb the learnig curve solo. With a 15 tooth pinion gear I get about 10 minutes flight time before the BEC cuts in.
