I am trying to switch from pinching to thumbing and thought that this may help me. Did not try them yet. anybody has any experience with them?

I got mine in. they feel nice. There is another thread about these a few threads down, and one from the maker direct in the for sale section under manufacturers/dealers.

I got these trying to switch from pinching to thumbs, but I found them to be to heavy and I overcompensated a lot. Maybe with time I will like them, but for the moment I will use them on the sim to get used to them.

I just bought a DX&. Moving from a Futaba 7CH. I bought these adapters, screwed them on to the DX7 beforeits first use. I am a thumb flyer and I started out easy just flying some circuits. I find them comfortable and even give me more precision, plus I love the DX7. I have a 1/2 dozen flights on them and my thumbs are not as fatigued.

I know of people who switched from thumbs to pinching, but not the other way. You're the first I've heard of. ;)

I bought a set the other day and was kinda iffy on the sim. I flew at the field with them today and I don't think I'll be keeping them. They look like they would work MUCH better for guys who fly thumbs, but for pinch flyers like me, not so much.
Very nicely made product, but just not for me.

I think the same Jeff. I think a 1/2" set that is "crowned" along the top edge like the stock gimbals would be awesome feeling and a perfect feel. I found these to be to slick for pinch flyers.
