i guys when u are putting the collars on the main shaft do you install the brass one 2.due to i have heard there is no need for it and it will only cause problems at a later date.i am askin this due to i do not have in on my expert.

I have never had the brass tubing spacer cause any problems. The heli will fly fine without the brass spacer. I may be wrong but I think that part is no longer included in the Fury style kits. Just mesh the crown gear correctly and snug up the split ring collar. Do not try to tighten the bolt in the collar too tight are you will break the ears on the collar. The collar will hold the mainshaft with the bolt just tightened snugly.

k thanks david.i hav a new style kit aswell thats why i was asking. wot is the purpose for that brass spacer anyway.

The spacer is there so the top of the constant drive unit could also ride up against the bearing that is right above. The unit is pinned to the main shaft, but the spacer is just there to place it against the bearing also.
On the other MA non Fury style helis, the top of the constant drive contacts the bearing that is above it. So I believe the thought was that on the Fury style it needed to do the same. The spacer was the way of accomphlishing that.
