so my collective stick ( left stick ) since getting rid of the ratchet in it, is just to loose. is there a way to make the sticks stiffer so to speak.. right now if i let go of the left stick while flying it could easly just slide right down to full - pitch...

What method did you use to get rid of the ratchet. Hopefully you didn't just take the spring out altogether. If you flipped the spring upside down, then just carefully bend it till there is the proper tension on it. You can also try tightening it down more with the screw. Honestly thought it's hard to know how to tell you how to get it tighter without knowing what you did to it to get rid of the ratchet.

on the dx6 its just a metal tab thats screwed into the area around the stick.. its not like loose in terms of rudder control. its the collective up and down. it just feels like its to easy to move up and down. what i did was bend it back alittle.. but i dont want to feel any of the ratcheting..i was thinking fuel tubing but kinda worried about it slipping off or jaming something.

could you use a bit of heatshrink on it with a bit of superglue or ca to hold the heat shrink before you shrink it
how hard to do is this mod as i need to do the same thing do you remove th front or the rear of the tx
i hate the ratchet feeling of my dx 6 but i love the radio itself

I simply slipped a length of nitro fuel line over the flat spring. While it removes the rachet effect it does give some smooth resistance.
Good luck...

i'll try the fuel tubing use some ca to make sure it doesnt slide off or something.. i wonder how long the tubing last.
just undo all the screws on the back of the tx case. make sure your pack isnt in there.. while your at it, if you wanted to switch plugs on the pack and the radio now would be the time. i found a better way to fit a 3s pack in the dx6 and you should be able to use a deans plug.
