So, I gotta ask... why does Symon over on TheTrexForum.com seem to get the first scoops on all the Align news over the others? You would think HF would get some of these first flows of info but that doesn't seem to happen.
Main blades approximately 460-490mm??
But Kyna stated 425mm blades in the thread from thetrexforums.com so there is some mismatch in specs here.

Those sizes have question marks against them as they where the first initial sizes given 6 months ago from the Align boss. Things have changed since :)
He said yesterday that 430-450 were going through test now :)
Kyna gets her info straight from Jason (chief designer)...so between Kyna's info and the Align Boss's info they're not going to be too far apart.
As for helifreak...they have the whole heli world to sort out and will be far more busier in all fields so missing out on one picture on model isn't a big deal. Helifreaks is the biggest forum dedicated to helis :D We're just little compared :)

im pretty sure the cheif designers words are probably more solid than anyone else's.

Honestly... if you all think it will be this year with NO PICS OR VIDS from Align already... You are DREAMING,,,, sorry but getting kits as soon as they are out and experiencing the REAL delivery... If Align pulls out this year for CUSTOMERS not PILOTS I would be suprised...
Honestly I hope they do but knowing how long it can take.... I seriously doubt it!
This is NOT a slam against Align man.... It's a realistic view of what can be here in the US considering it is October already!
I tell you what! If they get it out and customers can BUY IT before Xmas.... I will take Jason and Kyna out to one of the best restaurants in the OC on ME!
Actually if they came to OC and wanted to say hello I would buy them that dinner anyway ;)

yeah, you know after I saw this thread I expected pics within a week or so. I agree with you bob, they cant test, finalize, manufacture, and package enought helis to fill the supply line in a few weeks.
If it does show up this month, then I'll be equally impressed. Of cource no dinners on me... I'm buying a 500 :D

I'm quite sure they have done alot of modification before Jason went over for testing and any amendment will be done on the fly. I think Jason will be there only once for testing and there will want to get the most out of him.
Come on guys we still have about two and half months to Xmas....Have faith tis the season

I don't care about Christmas, I was expecting "within 30 days". I usually buy presents for others on the holidays, not for myself, and my wife tends to buy me more practical stuff, like a nice watch, or a case of quality cigars.
Perhaps I should just get a 600N?

Well, I'm out of the game now on the Trex 500e. I just ordered my first Nitro. Ordered a Knight 50 3D Nitro!!!!
Maybe next year I'll think about the Trex 500e again.
