I've setup my 500 3D with the V Bar head and the CSM Cyclock/720 combination and was just getting it dialled in when I got a little too enthusiastic and crashed it pretty heavily. Initially the damage didn't look too bad, the skids were pulled clean off and the booms kinked plus trashed blades but the head survived unscathed, it looks like the feathering shaft is okay plus the hardened mainshaft that I've not long fitted. Unfortunately during the post mortem back home both side frames are damaged as the slots where the skid mounting bolts fit have been pulled clean off the frames and are beyond repair. I've recently fitted the G Force frame strengtheners to my Trex 600N and this uses nylon screws to mount the skids so these will break off in a crash (hopefully!), saving the frames so I think I will do the same with the Logo when I get it rebuilt.

Another shock was finding that one of the balls on the inner swash has sheared off a couple of millimeters inside the hole which is going to make removal difficult and a replacement swash is £50/$100 in the UK :( Any suggestions on hole to remove it would be greatfully received!
