Last years event was a success, but it was not without problems. We went back to the drawing board in a couple of key areas and have implemented what we hope you'll consider as improvements.

An issue we have identified was the fact that many pilots show up after the pilots safety briefing. We did two things: 1) We pushed the pilots meeting out 30 minutes to 9:30am. 2) The key points of the pilots meeting are now covered on the registration form. If you pre-register, the form will be filled out for you to review and sign.

We'll have a pilots raffle which you will be automatically entered in for registering for the event.

Just some of the items:
- Trex 600 Nitro courtesy of: A Main Hobbies
- $150 Fromeco Gift Certificate courtesy of: Fromeco
- 325mm Radix Blades from: Curtis Youngblood Enterprises

The main raffle is going to be HUGE! The SVRW is getting great support from the various vendors and manufacturers! Some of the items in our main raffle:
- Century Helicopters Swift, Hawk Pro & more!
- Trex 600 Nitro courtesy of: Align USA

Hmmm interesting and only a 6-8 hour drive for me.... Let me discuss with the Wife and I will see if I can attend! She may want to go too and do some shopping in old town ;)

Trooper Sam... interested in a motor home trip?

I've been the last 2 years (and will be there this year at least on Friday), and this is a great event that draws from all over Northern CA and beyond... Great pilots, great demos, great time... The SVRW dudes put on a killer funfly.

If you can, don't miss it! I can't wait 'til the weekend!

Does anyone know if there will be an AMA signup at the Funfly? Also, are there going to be vendors at the field?

Take a look at the flyer here - http://www.svrw.com/images/ff07sm.jpg

You can sign up for AMA there (I might do that, too), and Grand R/C and HotHeli are listed as on-site vendors. I hear Century will have a large area as well, but not sure if they will be selling anything.
