My 10S Hurri is quite blinged out... and I think that may be causing a weight issue. It still has plenty of 'mojo' but I'm wondering how the weight compares to other Hurris out there.
CF frame, CNC head, QuickUK Raptor 30 CNC tail blade holders, RCP 500mm CF blades.
Z30 motor, Kontronik Jazz 55-16-32 ESC, Hyperion TiCool BEC
DS821 cyclic servos, 9254/401, AR7000 Rx, LiPo alarm from eflyernz
Heli weighs 1770grams without packs or canopy.
AUW is 2505 grams.
What do your rigs weigh in at?

Stuck fuselage, all CNC head, custom made battery mount and skids, 5S 5350mAh flight power, 2S 800mAh flight power for electronics = 2520g TOW.

2008 grams with batteries, 1634 grams without.
Stock motor, frame, 500mm wood blades. Upgraded motor mount, Alu bellcranks and elevator arm. Hextronic 2200mAh batteries. 3x s3151, Gy401 & s9254, Kontronic BEC30 and Graupner SMC16Scan

ukgroucho, I am planning to try a 9S setup. What packs are you using on your 10S?
Some calcs, running my Z30 1100 on 9S 2300mA packs, using a 61T first gear, and 16T pinion would give me about 2400 rpm, but with great power! Heck, all I need is a new ESC!

Two packs for just over $100... out of stock right now and I'm waiting on an order.
I'm running 2300 - 2400HS. Z30 800Kv. Peak power is 'huge'.. I saw a spike of 1950 watts on Sunday :shock:
I'm still thinking that I could drop from the 18t I'm using - throttle curve on Jazz is at 65%. I'm using Revco 68/61 gears and the 18t... I figure I could maybe even drop to a 16t but I'd like to try 17t first (cannot find one).
They also sell some high power ESCs (up to 12S)... for under $100 - kinda big but getting pretty good reviews, folks using them in rex 600s.
