I noticed the two different main gears have several different part numbers and different number of teeth.
Some have 212 teeth and some 218
Some have 155 teeth and some 153
Why the difference ??

For the new Logos the two gears are 212 tooth which is the Mod.5, the 153 tooth which is Mod.7 main gear, those are the only two Herringbone gears for the new Logo generation.
The older gears for the Logo 10,14,16 & 20 are mod .5 whiich is 200th, 137 tooth which is the mod.7 and the 96tooth which is Mod 1.0. These are all straight cut gears and are all still available but not for use in new generation.
