Wacky TailRotor Action?

Hey folks, I'm a major newbie... just hovering my CPPro, still with the "training wheels", but lovin it big-time, really gettin' hooked and looking at upgrades (Vs. the checking account!!!). But I'm all alone out here... wife bought it for me on a whim... I know no one else who flies, and a strange problem cropped up today: With the collective powered up and everything spinning, if I move the cyclic forward I get increased tail rotor rpm's sending me into a major tailspin. I didn't even know there was a link between the cyclic and the tailrotor? What's up?

sounds like something electrical is cracked out, either the tx, rx, or 3n1.. i assume you have the stock electronics. its been awhile since ive had my pro, and way longer since it had stock electronics.. so i dont remember how to go about tracking the problem down..

if it turns out you need a new tx..ive got one, and it worked perfectly the last time i used it...

Have already replaced the mixers, skids, of course blades, but haven't gotten into electronics/servos, so...
What's the tx.? rx.???

Man do I sound ignornant or what? 2 months ago I got a youtube from a friend of Alan Szabo Jr. flyin' his heli on a HF link, said to my wife I thought that would be cool to do, and she bought me one for my birthday. Can't go back now, I'm hooked!!!

tx is your radio what you use to control the heli

rx is the reciever its what the servos and esc's plug into..

dont worry aobut upgrades well bling upgrades..

superkids-----will never break
brushless main motor
pixie 20p or any brushed esc of that size
gws direct drive tail motor system... can be found a bphobbies. for about 10 bucks...
upgrade the radio system... stay 2.4ghz--- no glitching.. dx6- dx7- or jr x9303

the problemw ith the tail is that the 3n1 cannot supply enough power to those tiney motors to hold the tail.. when i had my pro i ran a pixie 20p esc on the tail. my tail barely moved and held great. i cant spell the guys screen name that bought my pro from but im sure he can back me on this that my pro flew like a dream compared to stock..most importantly tho

when you are hooked, start building a trex, or larger heli.. the trex 450 se or thunder tiger e325 mini titan are both awsome 450 sized helies and it blow your mind how much better and stable they are over the cp pro.. but upgrading the radio now is the best bet since you will need a upgraded radio to run a larger bird..
