I just put the park 400 4200kv on my CPP with FSBM. I am curious what pinion others are using with the Park 400 motor on the CPP. I have an 8t on mine right now but I think it needs more. I haven't played with it much so it could just need some adjustments but right now I just don't seem to feel much additional power. Once I take it out to a park and really start throwing it around I should have a better idea. I was running a 10t on my Park 370.

I'm using the 10T on mine and having a blast, If the headspeed seams to fast you can go with 9T pinion and you should be fine.

BTW Txflyer , Yep the CPP will give you a good run with the Park 400 w/3s 11.1 1200mah (Race) hahaha :)

lol yeah the fsbm is bad ass. I also put a 401 gyro on it. with the addition of the park 400 motor my little CPP should be a killer little monster.
so sounds like I need to put my 10t on the park. Cool, thanks for the help guys. I'll let ya'll know how it turns out.
anyone here running the park 400 with the FSBM?

dude you need to watch your tail rotor speed. things randomly flying off isnt always a good thing..

lol, is the tail plastic or metal? if its metal and you can find carbon blades for it put em on and forget about blowing it up

they are the same as the T-rex tail blades. Polycarbinate or something. They are pretty tough and I am not worried about them randomly flying off. I will, however, take care not to smack my tail rotors into grass or anything. The HS seems only a bit faster than the park 370 w/ a 10t but the power the 400 pumps out far exceeds the 370. Flight is very stable no bobbing. My little CPP flys like a champ. I bet most rex pilots would be shocked to feel how nicely this CPP handles now...well in reality it isn't much of a CPP anymore, but what else would I call it. LOL. Still gotta get that EF CNC swash maybe tomorrow. That should wrap up my CPP project. I can't think of another thing to do to it.

Just have fun with it. Now all I have to do is upgrade mine to a Belt drive... :)

I have a BCPP with the Park 370 4100kv brushless motor. An eight-tooth pinion gives me waay more head speed than the stock 370 brushed motor.

yup

i found out eflite runs very weak throttle curves programmed into there radios.. i ran my park 370 wide open...

idle up was 100, 100, 100
normal mode was 0,85,100

Yeah if your CPP is still pretty light throw a 10t on your park 370. You will get some good HS from that set up. I went from the P370 to P400 cause I wanted the extra power to keep the heli solid when pulling a lot of power from the tail (FSBM).

put some time in on the sim just screwing around. you need to get a feel for trying to regain control when you loose it.
