I've been watching Finless Bob's setup videos for the T-Rex 450. I'm getting ready to setup both my Esky Belt CP and Mini-Titan E325. For safety reasons, I'd like to power my AR6100 directly from a lipo battery in order to set up the servos. My question is what type lipo receiver pack do you recommend? I'm a little confused on the voltage and mAh requirements. I want to stick to a lipo since I already own a lipo charger/balancer. Thanks.

you can plug any 2s lipo directly into the 6100. I've even plugged in the lipo to the RX using the BEC type plugs :)

Whats wrong with using an old 4.8 volt rx pack you have lying around/?

I was just trying to figure this out my self, by having 3 channels taken by cyclic servos, and 2 by the tail servo and gyro gain, and another by the throttle, then you can plug your battery into the battery port, but then any time you re-bind, how do you do that, because you need your reciever to be powered up, but if you are using your battery port for the battery, then how can you bind? I hope I have not lost anyone her with this, and I am not trying to take over anyone elses post, but if anyone can help that would be great.

You can either power up using the ESC/BEC, or unplug any one of the channels and plug a battery in there. You can power up the receiver by plugging in the battery into any of the channels.

Thanks...what about my servos? Will the servos (stock Esky micro servos) be able to handle the voltage?
