After my maiden flight my motor was hot to touch , What is the safe operating temp for motors to run at and whats normal??

after doing some normal flying around for 14 minutes ,(changed battery) stock motor was bearly warm.

These motors run hot as a rule. Mine is typically 65 deg C (150 F) after a 7 minute flight. Has had about 50 flights like this without any issues todate with the motor. Cant say I like it though. 1100 kv motor runs this hot also. I think I will try a Z series motor next.
