Hi,
I just got a Lama V4 and crashed it quite a few times on my first flights. I am having some problems with stability though. No matter what I trim or adjust the settings, the lama's tail always go to the left. I maxed out on the settings and still no cure. I can hover it fine by applying plenty of left rudder but then, after seeing other people's video, I believe mine is nowhere near as stable.

I crashed quite a few time already with it and changed the lower blades. Are there anything else that I should check to make sure it is all working fine? The top balancer once popped out but I since put it back in. What could be the cause of the instability?

Anyone can help?

Thanks...

My Lama never flew right until I got the Xtreme blades, and balanced them. I am unsure if the balancing actually helped, but I am sure it didn't hurt. The other thing I did was to get the cnc upgrade inner shaft. This eliminates the flybar from popping out. You just have to create a mod that prevents the flybar from dropping low enough to strike the lower blades. I used a Microheli cnc inner shaft for a CX2/EZ. It has less flybar travel, but I did have to use a washer for each blade holder as there was a gap. I also had to shorten the link from the flybar to the blade holder assembly. It was quick and painless, and well worth it. I have had no bladestrikes, and it will hover like it is hanging from a string. You also have to make sure your trim is spot on. If the trim is out, you will overcompensate, and will end up with Toilet Bowl Effect, where it just spirals around and around on its own. Don't fall for the cnc upgrades, they transmit virbration, which can also cause flight issues. The cnc inner shaft and the Xtreme blades are the only thing you should change. Otherwise, leave the heads stock. The Xtreme motors are a good thing, I will get those as soon as my stockers die.
