I'm new to the RC Heli hobby, While learning to hover my new Belt CP the other day the main blades grazed the floor. I was lucky not to do any damage beside crack the coating on the wooden blades and scuff the hard wood floor, LOL. Not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but the blade is not cracked just the plastic coating. What is the best way to repair this? As of right now I have a strip of clear scotch tape with the same amount on the other blade to even out the balance.

Thanks

Well based on the photo it doesnt really look to bad...I would still check the wood tip itself for possible crack or split wood.

You could trim off remaining coating where it is peeled back and tape it so know air will further rip it apart in flight , Or do what I v'e done in minor blade stikes.
Used a small amount of epoxy , apply it over the exposed area let it cure 20 minutes ,

Sand it down with 220 or finer sand paper and re do your balance of blades .

Retrack blades you should be okay . It has worked with no other problems or issues.Thats just my suggestion . Happy Landings
