That battery holder is a good idea ******. I assume it fits? I intend to use Sanyo Eneloop nimh. These cells hold a full charge for months like alkalines. I've been using them on my non-heli gear. And each time I use a device that is just on standby, I get full power.

Sweet. You'll like them alot better, and its very cheap $$$ to do.

Yea, its good to get a replacement battery of some kind cause the stock DX7 battery don't last for anything. I use my DX7 for my simulator, and the stock batteries would drain it very bad. Now, my charge stays around 11v contsant.

I've gotten mine up to 11.7v and stopped there.

Charge time will be faster tooo.

I"m not sure, but I do know that if it get too low, the transmitter starts beeping. I think it might be around 8 volts.
