Hi,

I've recently changed from hovering at midstick to hovering at 65% stick (a bit above midstick, I fly mode2 inverted, I pull to give positive collective).

Amongst other heli's I fly a lepton and it's very nervous around hover.

Just to introduce some "sweetness" around the hoverpoint I used to flatten out my pitchcurve around midstick using the EXP1 curveline (using a T14MZ).
But ofcourse in line with my recent change the "sweetspot" is off.

I know how I can solve this (as my T14 has enough room to implement multiple "softspots") but I am wondering how others are solving this?
When you want hover softspots (upright and inverted) do you then introduce them in the pitchcurve?

Greetz,

Marc

The Lepton is rather responsive to the collective
(I would not describe it as nervous however)

The problem with creating a soft spot in the pitch curve
is that it is normaly at the expense of the other side (above/below)
If you flatten the middle it makes the response rather quick/sharp above & below
It shows up in moves that transition a wide collective range, like tic tocs
It makes it very hard to hit a specific point on each stroke with consistent accuracy

I feel that linear works best for overall 3D

You can use a lower headspeed in normal mode, that makes it settle easier
