CC Phoenix 45 ESC or Kontronik JAZZ 40-6-18

Hallo,

I am thinking of replacing the original TT ESC!

Whats the better choice for an update ESC CC Phoenix 45 or Kontronik JAZZ 40-6-18?

I have heard nothing bad about the JAZZ but I like the PC connection and the software from CC.
How does the govenor work on the Phoenix 45?

At the moment I am flying the stock motor but will change to the JGF 450F

Agreed. I have a cc35 on 4s in my e325 and it works great for me. I like the price of the CC better obviously. but if you have the $$, the jazz is top of the line.

I can't comment on the Jazz as I don't have one.. But the CC45 is working great on 4S with the Z-10A..
I find very easy to program the ESC through the PC USB link and the very easy to use software provided.

(I hate this beep counting system of the original ESC)

By the way the original OBL motor and ESC rest in peace in a drawer where they really belong. LOL

I run a 4s setup.

The CC35 govenor isn't very good. The CC45 is about the same thing. They both work well in fixed endpoints mode. Use a separate BEC with 4s like a Medusa Potencia 6V BEC

Jazz is better tha the CC35 or 45 and has a rock solid govenor.

First is the Govenor works great as many report. OICU812 (Shawn) swears by it. I trust his judgment. Also you don't need a separate BEC to run a 4s setup.
