Raptor 90 fan casing

I just upgraded to a OS .91 SZ-H engine. The heatsink seems too tall to fit the baffle in. do I need it?

Not required. Don't use it.

that baffle is for the 60/70 size engine only. Both use the same fan casing but the 60/70 benefit with the reduced space created by the baffle
