G'day Folks :-)
I had a fly yesterday as per usual, bought the chopper into my workshop turned everything off waited for batteries to cool then charged them. This morning I connected the charged batteries up and nadda...no beeps from the speed controller whatsoever... Im wondering if i have inadvertently knocked something (i seriously doubt this is the case though)... Is there anyway to test a ESC....Actually, let me rephrase that, Is there anyway for a completely electrical illiterate to test a ESC seeing it appears not to have power? It is the standard 50amp GAUI speed controller using 2x2200 18c 'no name brand' batteries BTW.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
p.s if it is cactus, would it be OK to purchase a 75amp to use with stock motor for the time being? As i do plan down the track to purchase the larger motor.
EDIT: Nevermind people problem found (after i found/dusted off/charged batteries for multi meter discovered a broken solder joint in the leads... soz to waste everyones time :-)
