lippo battery question

hello everyone. I was asking my self if its posible to fly SHOGUN with a 1500 7.7v lippo .the guy in the shop told me it could and it would fly longer
but my heli doesnt take off. why¿? I believe he doesnt know a lot about electric helis. thanks

The bats that are used in the sogun are 11.1v i doubt that the 7.4 is enough voltage for the sogun to get the power needed. Havent tried it though.
