I did get 8:30 on a pair of 3s 2500 HXT lipos. I would not recommend it though, bcos I ended up charging in about 2200mah into those packs. It really depends on your style of flying. The more you punch the throttle, the lower your flight times.
I assume that you are using stock ESC and motor.
- Lower head speed (may want to set to 70% for hovering)
- Change to CF blade (I have tried on my miniTitan and it save 30s~1min)
- Use 14T (I have 20~30s longer flight time when switch from 15T to 14T)

If you are sticking to the stock 6s power system then:
a) Low headspeed (~1800rpm)
b) 475mm blades and maybe boom-shrink kit
For more efficiency you could try a Z20-900kv motor instead of the stock motor.
For more capacity you can go to 2 x 3s 3300 packs (might need the long boom to balance).
For even more efficiency and longer flights you could go to an 8s setup, 2 x 4s 2500 but that will require an HV ESC (eg CC45HV), Z20-900 or similar motor and probably the after-market PerfectCircle main gear and pinion set.
