I bought a used RC from a guy. Everything seems to work fine. Everything charges and functions it seems.

The helo is a Kyosho Concept .30. I have put the nitro in, charged the reciever pack, charged the glow plug and the starter is functional.

My question is: How do I get the helicopter to operate in an idle state without the starter spinning the blades? When do I remove the glow plug?

Basically I'm confused with the start up operations of this device.

I'm on AIM if someone would like to contact me to talk in real time. SN: edittman45

Thanks,
Everett

Well when the helicopter starts up you should be able to remove the glow plug but if it stalls you might need a new glow plug. You should be able to remove the starter right after it starts too. don't really understand what you mean about an idle state without the starter spinning the blades. That might be a clutch problem if your blades spin at an idle or you have the throttle set to high.

Clutch trouble?
The best thing you could do Everett is to find some experienced help in your area to help you. If you don't there is a very STEEP learning curve. Your help could also make sure you get started safely. Helis can bite you in the keester if your not careful. There is a Pilot Locator link at the top of every page, see if you can find some help in your area of CA. If you cannot, post up here looking for help and I'm sure you can get the help you need.
