Hello guys,

i bought a Hurricane Carbon on 25th September from the internet site FLYING-HOBBY.COM in Hong Kong. I paid it via PAY PAL on same day. The Status is on hold since 25th September and they dont answer on my Emails. Every item is on stock. Is everyone here who has the same problem? 700$ is a lot money i dont want to lose.

They have good reputation all along. Maybe the long holidays here in Hong Kong delayed their reply. But at least they should reply your email.

Exactly. Yesterady was National Day (GREAT fireworks show, I am visiting Hong Kong now).

Jennifer, who is the normal person in the shop and handles most things is off this week.

But they are open, I was there earlier this evening (Tues evening here now).

Superb company - have many dealings with them, and never had a fault. The odd occasion where things are delayed has been because of a national holiday - I believe it is Moon festival at the moment.

In general they ship stuff from HK to the UK in less time than most UK model shops can manage.

I got mine after ten days (holding up for tax), but they are out of stock for some parts, I am waiting for the 500 blades for mine (got 515 mm instead).
I also think they are out of stock with the motor, if your are with the 1100 motor.

I think every kit they are selling, exist of several parts put together, so if they miss one part, they don't have a kit until they got all parts for it.

I know that Fung, that have the shop, are out for a buisiness trip right now, so that might be the reason for no answer, but he will be back.

Anyway, I didn't like it either when they charge the money up front , but I think this shop are okay.

I've bought 4 kits including my 550 from Fung and he is excellent, my 550 was slightly delayed as well as they were waiting for servos. Give them a call if you are getting worried - their numbers are on the web-site

Fung is not around and Jennifer is also out for the week. So things may not get done as quickly. They do list the 500s as in stock, but I didn't pick any up, so I am not sure.

As for the holiday, it was National Day, the 58th Anniversary of the Peoples Republic of China. Sort of like the US July 4th.
