What ESC is that on his 5003D?

the ESC is a modified Kontronic Jazz (80 i think). They take them apart, re build them with heatskinks all over, then wrap em up!

Anyone talk to Andy about his 600 3D at MT Pleasant. I am going to start building a 600 3D VBar and am not sure what motor, battery or controller to get.

He did say the he runs about 75% in gov mode and gets longest most consistant battery power.

I got bits and pieces of info from him:
Hacker motor ???
JR/Graupner servos/8717 equivalent
Kontronik controller w/ purple heatsink ???
Maniac blades
metal motor mount
10S Flight Power ?mah

I did.... I think he was using a Hacker motor A50 14S (their are better option out there than this) with a Kontroniks Power Jazz and a 10s 3700 Lipo..... if my memory serves me correct.

He did mention it was modified. But whether that was elecrically or phisically he didn't say.
