Need a little help?

Ok i need a little help,
In the uk we have a wire coding as Ie: black is Neutral or - & red is Live or +
now this might sound stupid so why on my Full River 1800mAh do we have
3 x black
1x red on the balancing plug & is it still
(3x -)
(1x +) and why is it not the other way round?

or am i just asking a Dum ass question?


& i know that the colour of the cables changed in the uk in 2004 before anyone says

Because the middle wires are both positive and negative. Positive lead for one cell, negative for the next cell. So one could argue that the middle wires should be black or red, or black/red with red/black stripe. :)

Some packs are 3 red/1 black, others are 3 black/1 red.

Thunder Power and Flight Power just make the middle wires other colors.
