Thanks for asking, beautiful day today, we had 15 pilots register, expecting that many and more tomorrow.
Sorry, forgot the camera.

We could see and hear (20 miles NE) some stuff going on over at Sun-n-Fun, had to be the Thunderbirds doing an "arrival sequence" or just practicing.

Hope to see lots of you out tomorrow.

I just got home from Sun n Fun...The TB's flew today, plus there was a Marine F-18 demo.

And of course the usual lot like Patty and Matt....

Wanted to thank everyone for attending our event. We had 29 registered pilots and a good stream of spectators. All in all it went very well and the club is very pleased with it.

Next year, we will have camping available and there will be preregistration on our web site.

I want to thank B & B Hobbies for being there and donating some of the gifts. Also RCShirts.com, you all really saved my butt with your donations.

Photos will be coming soon.

I believe the longest drive award will go to Chris Smith from Tallahassee and then Mike Fortin from Jupiter.

Peter Wales put on a great show all day Saturday with the Llama and the Bell 430.

Again, Thanks to all of you.

Thanks for going through all the bother, Gene. We had a nice time out today, even enjoyed the light rain showers and cooler temps. See ya next time!

Who would have thought the longest drive award would go to a drive of about 4 hours?

I enjoyed myself at the event. Even though I was running a dangerously high head speed due to having lost my gov sensor and magnets (most likely prior to this event) I still had a good time. Flying Satuday afternoon would have been a lot more fun than working on my heli but once you get started it's hard to stop. Unfortunately, the GV-1 sensor that was donated to me does not seem to be compatible with the RevMax (throttle servo starts twiching and freaking out shortly after turning on the system) so I will probably need to order a new RevMax sensor and cobble together a new bracket for it.

See you guys next time!
