Hello i have 4 packs of Neuenergy 4s 4300mah 20C. I use it in my Trex600 2x4s with CC85HV and Neu 1910H/1Y.
I want to know with which mikado heli can i use those lipos. Better on Logo5003D or 6003D and with which motor?
Thanks

For 8s I would go for the 5003d. Duno what motor though. Seems a little light for 6003d. But maybe others has good experience doing the L14 on 8s. Can't imagine anybody flying the 6003D on 8s yet. Also, make sure your packs will fit.

Sounds like the perfect setup for your Logo 500 right there in your T-Rex. Just yank it out and sell off the airframe. Once you own a Logo you'll never fly the T-Rex again anyway :)

Yes but with what pinion and which mod .5 or .7?

My 1910/1Y on 6S easily stripped my 0.5 mod logo 10 maingear (old style, not herringbone). Either HB gear should be fine. What sort of headspeed are you looking for and are you going to use vbar?

I know OICU812 has an 8s on a 5003D and loves it, but honestly a 6s is all you need for hardcore 3D on the 5003D. Sure it's going to have killer power but the motor ESC a Lipos you have chosen will also work great on the 6003D. Plus you can grow to a more powerful setup later if you have the 6003D.

Yes this is what i want to know. In fact the lipo are new as my trex600. But my feeling with trex600 is not so good, it is a good heli and with 8s it is powerfull but in fly it is not so precise.
Like you i have also the MT and i bought it for joke because i have already Trex450SE v2 but with my great surprise the MT is more precise and it give a good feeling during manouvers and for exemple when i do also a simple 8 i have to correct the trex450 with pitch instead MT don't need any correction it stay there where i want.
So i presume that also logo6003D will be more precise without any bad tendences than my Trex600. I can be wrong but even OICU812 said that logo5003D has better flying characteristic than his Trex600 10s.

After seeing a few T-Rex600 up close and watching them fly their is no doubt that the Logo 6003D is a big step above it in everyway. Align 600 is a nice heli but the Logo 6003D & 5003D blow the blades off that thing. That was proven at IRCHA this year.
Since you have the 8s packs I would go ahead and put myself at the sticks of a Logo 6003D if I were in your shoes. If you were talking about already owning 6s packs then the 5003D would be the hot ticket.
EDIT*** Even if you decide on the 5003D your going to have a great flying heli without question.

I had 8S yes, it was good yes. Was it all outrageous for power in comparison to 6S scheme,,,, not really. Definetely an edge but what I have noticed with the particular size, weight of this heli and the motor kv range is 6S with the bigger mah packs might be the better ticket for overall performance and efficiency, for arguements sake lets call 6S the balanced conservative investement. I say if you have 8S or have gotten into it you still will be very happy, you can still fly 4:30 of non stop stick bangin and run under 80% rule. Same with 6S as well, its just a tad less power and with good collective it's not really noticeable. So if you do have 6S stay where you are at, your gains might not be as much as you feel they should be or need. I am probably going to stay 6S now for awhile and continue to test out different motors for 6S as that will be what the market will be going for imho.
In conclusion either way, 550 main blades are a must imho, and if you are running (6s) 3200-3850 packs you will want to stay 500mm mains as it is tough on packs and flight time. 8S the 3700mah packs are a minimum as well imho, cheers.

In further regards to this, absolutely true guys, my Logo 5003D on 6S blows away my t-rex 600 on 10S for being nimble and accurate in flight. Anyone wants to throw darts go ahead, I have no reason to BS on this as my 600 Rex has the very best of everything on it for power and performance. It is a matter of power to weight and the 600 rex have never been known to be light.
