Not sure if this is old hat or not, but it would appear Mikado have a new bearing block intended for outrunner motors, rather than the main shaft. It clamps around the motor pinion (below the motor mount) and provides additional shaft support for Z30 etc.
I cant directly link to it, but look at part number 4134 on the main Mikado website... an interesting concept to provide more support and therefore better alignment of pinion and main gear!
