I have a question about charging Li-Po batteries.

I have two Xtreme Power 11.1V 1800mAh20C batteries for my T-Rex 450S CF.

The charger that come with my kit is a GA-003. It seems to be a generic chinese brand.

It has 2 led lights on it and is probably the size of 2 matchboxes. The lights are ment to change colour for different states.
Charging= red flashing
Charging saturated= green lighting
No charging = green lighting

I was just wondering if you could tell me the charging time or give me the formula.

Specs for charger as per sticker on charger.
Li-ion/LiPo Battery: 2 cells 7.4V, 3 cells 11.1V
INPUT: 15.0 - 18V
OUTPUT: 0.75A

Is there any chargers you could reccommend for me to buy and a price in au dollars. I will probably buy 2
more 11.1V 2200mAh20C batteries later on.

Probably around 2-3 hours when the battery is completely empty.

1800mah / 750ma = 2.4h

Add some time for losses, balancing, etc and you end up with close to 3h.

As for charger recommendation, take a look at the Cellpro 4S from fmadirect.com

It is very safe, easy to use, already includes the balancer, is reasonably priced (85$ including adapter for your battery) and in general it gets good reviews.

If you charge at home, you will also need a 12V-15V (at least 4A output) power supply. You can get them for about $25.

I am using the Mega Power 960, one charger to do almost all my charging without having to worry of upgrade in the future.
