I’m totally like Fred Flinston with computers. Having said that I want a new Radio and the debate is between FUT 9C or JR 9303 I’m leaning towards JR but witch is the easiest to work with program wise???
Remember I’m a 99.9% newbie at a hovering stage. :?:

What are other pilots flying in your area/club? That should way heavily on your decision. I personally picked JR for this reason. 99% of my club flies JR. It was easy to find help, locally, when I needed it.

They use both, and I have both brands at home for my heli an XP652
and for my Mini plank Futaba 4ch PCM (A little old)
I need to pick one that wont be a headache to program or work by myself when no one is around.

Well, I have had a chance to use both. I personally fly a 9C but alot of the guys I fly with use the 9303. I had the chance to test hop and setup up a guys chopper last weekend with a 9303 and really like it.

If cost were no object, I'd get a 14MZ :noteworthy

For a $400 to $600 radio ... sorry Futaba, I'd get a 9303. More features for the money.

Just my opinion.

Another vote for the 9303. I have one and found it VERY easy to program. Never even had to open the book. It was that intuitive.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still not sure what to chose the FUT comes with 4 3151 servos that I could use right now. for less $$ than the JR without servos. Then again the programming part worries me, I’ve heard FUT needs a lot of fiddling with for the curves or mixes.

What do you say 9C and 9303 experts??

I like the 9C and I don't think it's at all difficult to set up. If you're willing to consider another option, the 9C Super builds on the 9C with even more features, and is available with 4 9252 servos. If I were looking for a 9 channel radio I'd be looking hard at the Super.

JR all the way, I fly the 8103 and some day, a 9303 will make it's way to MS for me.

I use a 9C but have used a friends 9303, I personally like the 9303 better. The 9303 just feels lovely and comfortable in your hands and is also super is to program, the 9C is also very easy to program but overall I feel that the 9303 is just a better radio. The 9303 has more features than the 9C also, the 9303 gives you more for your money. Overall there both great radios, you cant really go wrong with either, been using my 9C for two years and love it. :)
