Sorry to ask this again. I got a bit confuse as thread on motor keep switching between Logo 500 and 600 when talk about motor selection.

I am using Z30A-800 on Logo 500 V-Stabi....so far so good. ( 12S A123 with 18T, got to run at 70% @2300rpm - moving from flaybar (80% @ 2250rpm)

Have all the parts to convert the Logo 500 to Logo 600 Stabi, but want to be sure the motor is good enough using it with Radio 600 blade.

ESC is Jazz 40-8-32 and thinking of using it with Kontronik Tango 45-8 . Still using 18T and 12SA123.

Is Kontronik Tango 45-8 good for 600 or just for 500 ?

The 45-08 was based around a 10S Lipo setup and designed to pull 600-620mm blades, so with respect to Power input and output and blade size yes the 45-08 is up to the task. I am not familiar with that particular Jazz controller of yours and I would research that out independently. Of course running larger blades will increase your disc load and amp draw "drastically". You will absolutely 100% want to ensure your esc can handle larger amp loads, ie: amp ouput and heat associated to this fact. The ideal 10S ESC from Kontronik at the moment is the 55-10-32 and if you want to go big the Powerjazz of course will do up to 15S lipo and 200 amps.

Shawn,

Thanks for the response. It looks like a Jazz-55-10-32 and Tango 45-08 is a better combo for 600 with 12S A123.

I probably will try to see if I can stretch my current Jazz-40-10-32 ( rated 40A cont and 50A burst) with my Z30A-800 for now. Below show my current eagle log as of today playing around the stability setting with 12S A123 18T and govn at 70% to keep the hs down to 2300.

You think I could stretch this configure to take 600 blades ( along with boom and other parts upgrade to make it Logo 600 ) by keeping the esc and motor and running it at 18T with 80% govrn hoping keeping it to 2200rpm and the spkie around 50A.

running it back at those limits of that esc is going to create waisted energy, ie: heat. How much and will it thermal or create problems? I can not be certain. If you do in fact try it, I certainly would advise having your logger on board and getting in some mild to medium flights to get a base line of where everything will run. Better to be safe and educate yourself along the way imho.

Shawn,

Good advice. Will do just that. Don't want to kill the electronic, worst kill the lovely parts to upgrade to Logo 600, which is hard to get.

Hey, what parts other than tail boom, tail box, and landing gear are different for the 600? I plan on upgrading at some point in teh future.

miragewsu , bascially the head is different.

Shawn, I think I will put going 600 on hold, need to spend a bit more time to be familiar with the V-STABI.

I have been flying the 45-08 with the 55-10-32 ESC and 10s2p TP Pro Lite 4000 mah packs (Logo 14 carbon).

As I understand the Kontronik specs for the motor, this is the max voltage for the 45-08.

This combo makes two horsepower, by the way, which is "adequate" for a 6-1/2 lb (3 Kg) machine :)
