1) CNC Anti rotation bracket - why is this needed as the elevator lever does this function? Does it add anything? How does it installed (if in Finless video, I haven't had time to watch them yet, so feel free to just tell me it is there)?

2) Current ESC - I just got my kit from ReadyHeli and has just ESC (no BEC/Voltage Regulator), does this have a built in BEC?

Your Kit should have come with the seperate BEC, the stock GAUI 50a ESC does not have a built in BEC. Seems to me that mine was packaged up with some other part, and I didn't find it right away while unpacking. If you can't find it call John at ReadyHeli he's really good about making things right. Mine had a bad ESC and he had me a replacement in a couple of days.

i got my kit on 9/27 from readyheli and it did not have an external bec with it. I am using one of the new castle creations bec's on mine.

I was conserned by the manual that states on page 10 that the esc has a bec so I disconnected the red wire on the esc. The speed controller was not working. So I contacted ReadyHeli about it to get a new speed controller thinking that this esc does now have a bec. It turns out that it does not and the red wire must be connected on the servo connector along with the external bec for the speed controller to function.

I think you want the anti rotation bracket the keep the stress off the elevator lever.
My 550 CF has the CNC bracket and it is nice looking.

I tend to think the antirotation bracket is a waste of time. It actually limits the elevalor travel at full positive and negitive pitch. It does look the goods but I doubt the standard setup would cause any phasing issues though.

It actually prevent the swash from turning, if you have trouble to get your loops straight and nice this device will help.

If you have made a correct set up of your heli, you wont have any issues with pitch limits!

a) I got a CC BEC and it was DOA. Luckily I had a SportBEC laying around and am flying with that.

b) Thanks for the offer, but I really don't want to add another pack, but you never know. :)

c) I got +/- 13 on my CNC head with the anti rotation bracket installed. And no binding with that and about 6.5 cyclic motion.

d) The main instructions are old, and I think we are on ESC number 3 or so sine the instructions came out.

e) I can see where the AR bracket does help, the A arm is plastic and does flex.
